The "History of Content Industries Archive Research Center" (HARC)—a research institute of ZEN University—is entering into an academic exchange agreement with the International Manga Research Center (IMRC) at Kyoto Seika University.

To commemorate this agreement, we will host a lecture event exploring how we can collect, preserve, and pass on cultures such as manga, anime, and games to future generations.

Attendees can look forward to valuable lectures and panel discussions featuring leading figures in manga culture and archive research, including manga artist and President of the Japan Society for Manga Studies Mitsuru Sugaya, ZEN University HARC Director Koichi Hosoi, and Kyoto Seika University Board Chair Kazuma Yoshimura.

*The Kyoto International Manga Museum is currently holding events to celebrate its 20th anniversary; visitors can also enjoy special exhibitions on the day of the event.
