A lecture on "archiving" was held, and because it is difficult to physically preserve a wide range of games, testimonies from people at the time are important as academic primary sources.

Koei Tecmo's president, Yoichi Erikawa, talks about the time before the video game industry was established. He made "The Battle of Kawanakajima" hoping to sell 10 copies, but it ended up being a huge hit, selling 10,000 copies. He mobilized all the "neighborhood ladies" to dub the tapes and shipped them out by hand.
